Character Illustrations
Creating the characters I see in my head is something very valuable to me and drawing them was a necessary skill for me to learn. It allows me to really flesh out what I see in my head and make something that I can show to people as a visual as opposed to relying on descriptions of what I'm seeing mentally.

The drawings above are in order of newest to oldest, with the newest being on the leftmost side. Busts is the workflow I've found myself enjoying the most, but full body art is something I'm interested in and currently learning.

The cowboy is a good workflow piece as it shows how I go from ideating in the sketch stage to doing my line art and then ultimately finishing with the colored and shaded final piece.
All of these drawings are things I look to grow off of and even looking at the newest one, I still see places where I can improve. Knowing I have room to grow and that I can always improve on the last piece helps to keep me motivated and ensures my newest character is always better than the last.
